This is a study of Brighty built entirely from open professional data — no access to internal systems. We worked through four angles: company and team, hiring dynamics, profiles of the potential audience, and candidate research for open roles. Each section pairs an analytical breakdown with the structured dataset it was built on — one you can verify yourself. The reports follow in order: the natural place to start is report #1 (company, team, hiring).
Where the data comes from — and why you can trust it
prepared 2026-06-28 · MEASURED · Outricher data
Every report is assembled from a single building block: a profile where career, company, education, skills, contacts, and public code are stitched into one object. Up to 148 fields per person (on the Brighty export — 116 on average), all searchable and filterable. The graph holds 1.17B such profiles.
Each report pairs an analytical breakdown with the dataset behind it. The cards are clickable — open any report in full.
the first snapshot: who's on the team, where they came from, where they are, and how hiring looks
a clinical breakdown: the whole team by name, the company's history, hiring + candidates
8 profiles of the potential audience across 4 demand vectors — each reasoned and verified against the graph
not just current people, but those who left too: 60 people over 6 years, with tenures, attrition, and "where they are now"
a new angle: not the app's audience, but companies that could use Brighty Business
all 68 roles analyzed + candidate research across 6 positions (senior + high-potential mid-level)
An experimental layer: we try angles that weren't in the original brief and test them against your data. Some will land, some won't; we'd welcome your feedback on where to dig next.
hypothesis: competitor hiring reveals market strategy — tested across 8 companies
the map showed "marketing/growth = 1" → we built the pool to fill it
4 hypotheses for your review + what's already done + where we need your input
Ready-made datasets behind each report: sampling, enrichment, scoring, and segments. Request a dataset directly, or open the parent report for the full breakdown.

Support hires for the actual demand (Support Specialist reposted ×4): the main bet is a rising specialist→lead. An honest split of "active now / CS alumni." From report #5.
A measured gap: Data/Analytics = 0 current / 1 departed (100% attrition). A product/growth analyst for post-round investor requirements — the main bet is a rising mid-level. Honestly: 121 DS flagged for review, GitHub is a bonus, not a filter. From report #5.
All 6 hiring roles are researched (AML / MLRO · CISO · CFO · UX Lead · Customer Success · Data Analyst). Audience profiles are in report #3.
A few findings from the reports above — each went through "hypothesis → check against the data." Everything is measured against the external professional graph, with no access to Brighty's internal systems: this is what's visible from the outside today. The goal isn't to "catch" anything, but to help you see what's hard to see from the inside.
