Pull P5: diaspora specialists in the EU.

The second half of the migration family — and the most "career-analytical" portrait of them all. P5 is someone who studied in a source country (RU/UA/IN/CN/TR/BY/KZ) and now works as a professional in the EU. Cross-border, multi-currency life is their default: money sent home, EUR plus a home currency in hand, crypto as a way around banking friction. These are exactly the people served by Brighty's multi-currency IBAN + card + instant transfers. The signal is country of education, read off the career graph. You can't build a list like this from a set of companies — you have to read where a person studied. That is precisely what a founder can't do alone, and it's our differentiator.

01Who we looked for and why

If someone studied at home but lives and earns in the EU, juggling currencies across borders is a daily routine for them.

CAREER ANALYSIS

studied in RU/UA/IN/CN/TR/BY/KZ — now a professional in the EU, sending money home and juggling currencies

Why they're a customerCross-border, multi-currency life is their default: remittances home, EUR plus a home currency in hand, crypto as a way around banking friction. Among the most active crypto-wallet users — and exactly the people served by Brighty's multi-currency IBAN + card + instant transfers.
Signal in the dataA current EU resident whose education is tied to a source country (MIPT/MSU/IIT/Tsinghua/METU/Kyiv Polytechnic and others). The role is professional (income to send home); students and very junior profiles are excluded.

02How many we found in total

The pool was measured against the live database. The "educated at a source university" signal is very common among EU professionals — the real audience runs into the hundreds of thousands; the constraint isn't volume, it's precision.

Total600
This is a career analysis, not a list. Each person is selected because they studied at a university in a source country and now work as a professional in the EU. The sample is balanced across countries of origin; the full pool is in the hundreds of thousands.

03How we built the sample

600 people — a deduplicated sample, balanced by origin.

  1. Resolve universities into the index: flagship universities of the source countries were matched once against an indexed school identifier — so the query runs on a working index instead of a heavy text scan.
  2. Per-school traversal alternating across countries of origin — so no single country crowds out the sample.
  3. Only profiles with a current professional role in Brighty's service area — students and junior profiles excluded.
  4. Deduplication by profile + the full canonical field set from the first query.

04What we enriched with

A free layer from the database plus paid API top-up of the full career history. Email coverage is lower for the diaspora — these are academics and corporates whose contact details are public less often; career depth, on the other hand, is high.

Contacts, honestly. Email is present for 26% (153 of 600) — lower than for crypto natives: diaspora professionals (academics, R&D, corporates) keep their contact details public less often. The paid top-up raised career and education depth (which is what the origin signal is built on): almost everyone has a full history of roles and universities. Where an email exists, it's real — we don't invent addresses. Every profile is reachable via a direct link and carries a complete career picture.

05How we scored

A p5_score (0–18) and an A+/A/B/C label. Base fit is high (source-country education + a professional role in the EU) — scoring ranks by value, reachability, and confidence in origin, with a penalty for "studying the region from abroad".

The migration family is complete. P5 (diaspora by education) + P6 (relocators by past employer) are two career-analytical portraits a founder won't assemble alone. Next up: the P7 (web3 studios) and P8 (Sharia network) niches.
