outricher/Visa ICP playbook
Visa practice playbook · O-1 / EB-1A / EB-2 NIW · September 2026
Six kinds of client we already found for a visa practice — and why each one files.
Not one list. Six different people, each caught at a different moment: the engineer whose status clock is running, the MBA counting post-graduation months, the founder who owns a US company from abroad. One practice bought them over six months and kept coming back for more of the same.
Describe your ideal client in one paragraph — we return real ranked candidates from that exact pool, free, before you pay anything.
the same segment ordered again, March to August
client profiles — five candidate cohorts plus the referral side
for the first sample: [SAMPLE SIZE, e.g. 25 rows] ranked rows within [SAMPLE TURNAROUND, e.g. 48 hours]
and up, per contact — flat, never a share of your fee
Every data figure here is a measurement from delivered work or a live query against the Outricher career graph. No client, employer or candidate is named. Tiers and scores are evidence-strength for an attorney to qualify — never eligibility verdicts.
What this is
Sixty seconds, then the form.
You don’t have a lead problem. You have a timing problem.
The foreign nationals who sign this quarter are the few hundred whose status window is closing right now — and that window is a date in the data, not a mood.
We sell the slice, not the database.
Six ideal-client profiles built for a working visa practice, each with the exact signal behind it and the number of people it found. He ordered the best one ten times.
Bring your own ICP and we build it.
One paragraph is the whole brief. You get a free sample of real ranked candidates from that exact pool — evidence attached, contactability resolved — before you pay anything.
The file is yours.
A ranked, evidence-tagged list in XLSX, CSV and JSON. Run it through your own sequence, or use the same rows as a lookalike or ad-audience seed. Who gets contacted is always your decision.
Flat per-record pricing, from $0.09 a contact.
Never a share of your engagement fee. The rate is quoted against the free sample you already hold.

Why an ICP beats a list
Three things six months of corrections taught us
Law 01
The arc, not the address
A degree earned outside the US next to a job held inside it — the pair that means “here on someone else’s visa”.
Law 02
Urgency is a date
Graduation month, the month a founder title switched, years actually spent in the country — all fields with dates in them.
Law 03
Nobody advertises it
In a pool of 13,926 founders, nine mentioned visa intent anywhere public. The rest are found structurally.
This is the whole argument for custom research.
A generic list vendor can sell you “software engineers in California”. Nobody can sell you “people whose first degree is foreign, whose US tenure is under seven years, and whose current job started the month after they graduated” — because that is not a filter in anyone’s product. It is a query on a career graph, and it is where the people who sign actually are.
The order book
Six profiles, ordered by repeat demand
Each one answers the same three questions: why this person needs counsel now, how that shows up as fields in a career graph, and how we proved the filter catches the right people — usually after getting it wrong first.
These are shipped files for one practice, not the size of the market. Under each profile sits a much larger qualified pool; we ship its contactable top first, which is why delivered files run at near-total email coverage while the pool underneath runs at a fraction of that.

Where these people actually are
The visa signal is the foreign degree, not the foreign address.
Nearly four fifths of everything delivered was hard-gated to people already living inside the United States — measured at 100% US on every shipped file. Only the relocation-hub group, about 5%, is a geography play.
19,470 profiles delivered in total to one practice, March to September 2026. The method is nationality-agnostic: origin is a parameter, not a premise. The engineer profile ran on Indian, Iranian, Canadian and Nigerian first degrees inside the same file — swap the origin anchor in one line and the identical scoring runs for a Chinese, Brazilian or Nigerian practice.
What you actually receive
Not a name and a title — 129–145 fields per person.
A reconstructed record an attorney can qualify from: identity and contact, every dated position, every education record with a foreign-vs-US verdict and the reason for it, petition evidence counted, and the score with its components shown.

Your ICP, not ours
Describing it in plain words is the whole brief.
The six above are what one practice needed. Each of them started as a paragraph in a chat message and ended as a query.
Bring a paragraph
“Foreign-trained physicians finishing US residency, final year, outside the big metros.”
Becomes: training start year + specialty length → a computable final year · foreign medical school · current US location.
Bring your client list
“Here are the 200 people who signed with us. Find more like them.”
Becomes: what the clients who actually signed share structurally — career arc, degree origin, timing — then the lookalike built from that.
Bring a hypothesis
“I think people whose employer just got acquired start looking.”
Becomes: a sizing run. Counts first, no extraction, no cost — how the MBA segment started before it turned into three paid batches in eight days.
Bring your own channel
“We’re not sure email is the right way in.”
Becomes: the same ranked rows cut for the channel you already own — sequence-ready, or a lookalike seed to retarget rather than contact.
Why a sizing run comes firstOne practice asked how many US MBA graduates with a foreign bachelor’s degree existed. The answer came back as counts — no rows, no cost. His reply, “I didn’t expect there would be that many”, turned into three paid batches inside a week.
What happens after you send the form
Three steps, and the first one is free.
You describe the client
One paragraph: geography, field, seniority, visa track. Plain words are the brief — no filter menu to squeeze it into.
Day 0
We size it and send the sample
A count of how many people match, then [SAMPLE SIZE, e.g. 25 rows] real ranked rows with the evidence attached. Free, and yours whatever you decide.
Within [SAMPLE TURNAROUND, e.g. 48 hours]
You order the volume you want
Minimum order [MINIMUM ORDER]. The rate is quoted against the sample you already hold, so you see rows before the invoice.
Delivery within [ORDER TURNAROUND]
What it costs
Flat per record. The first look costs nothing.
First

Your ICP, described in one paragraph, returned as real ranked candidates with evidence and contactability resolved. No commitment — the sample is yours whatever you decide.

From $0.09 / contact
Flat per record, rising with depth — and depth here means a hundred-plus fields per person, not a name and a title. Never a share of your engagement fee.
Optionally
A fixed monthly scope
A standing cohort refreshed on a cadence — new people crossing into your criteria each month, deduplicated against everything already sent.
Everything we send is checked against everything we have already sent you, so a repeat order is repeat people, never repeat rows — send your CRM export and it joins that ledger too. When we get a row wrong, the make-good comes as replacement rows in the next batch, at our cost: that is how the 86 rows culled from an MBA batch were settled. Full pricing and FAQ →
Who is behind this
Outricher
Outricher builds custom research on a career graph — dated positions, education records, awards, patents, publications and a contact layer — and ships it as ranked, evidence-tagged cohorts. The visa practice described here is one client; the method is the same for any ICP you can put into words.
