Freshly funded founders in critical tech — third-party validation, on the record.

A closed funding round is the one credential an adjudicator, a bank and a lawyer all read the same way: independent parties examined this person's work and put money behind it. In critical-and-emerging-technology fields — AI, semiconductors, quantum, biotech, clean energy, robotics — that validation lines up with national-interest framing. This cohort is a blueprint: the round data is already tracked and measured, the build is specified, and no rows have shipped yet — the first delivery is scoped to the practice that commissions it.

Why they're likely clients. A closed funding round is the career-structure signal here: independent parties examined this person's work and put money behind it, and in critical-tech fields that third-party validation lines up with national-interest framing — a visa question that opens on the round date. The overlay ranks propensity, not outcomes: each row arrives evidence-tagged — round link, field class, archetype markers — for an attorney to qualify.
Who buys this · and why one row multiplies

NIW and O-1 practices with venture clientele, and firms building referral relationships with accelerators and funds. A funded founder is rarely a single case: behind each row sits a cap table of co-founders, early employees and investor-introduced peers — founders cluster — accelerator batches and cap tables put their peers one warm introduction away, with the round as the shared context.

S1 · the event

The funding event

Company-to-funding links are tracked across the professional-profile graph. Measured for 2025: 8,333 seed rounds (median $2.5M), 2,886 Series A (median $12.5M), 1,317 Series B (median $28.6M). The round date makes timing precise — 90 days post-announcement is the window before counsel is chosen.

→ timing: 90-day post-round window
S2 · the field

The field filter

Critical-and-emerging-technology classification, built from company descriptions and industries. Generic SaaS does not carry national-interest framing on its own; AI infrastructure, semiconductors, quantum and biotech do. The filter keeps the rows an attorney can frame and drops the rest.

S3 · the overlay

The founder × visa overlay

The funded-company signal joins the founder archetypes from Cohort 01. An offshore founder whose US entity just raised is the single highest-leverage row this engine produces: fresh capital, US business gravity, and a visa question that opens on the round date.

What a delivered row carries · the blueprint spec

No sample table on this page, because no rows have shipped from this cohort yet — publishing invented ones would defeat the point of the engine. What follows is the delivery contract: the six field groups every row carries when the build runs.

Field groupWhat ships in it
Founder identity & roleThe person, their founder-level title, and the profile record behind it — the same real-founder gate Cohort 01 uses, so hired executives and advisors do not slip in as founders.
Company + roundThe funded company with its round: stage, size band and round date. The date drives the 90-day outreach window; the band places the company without pretending to per-round precision.
Field classificationCritical-tech category — AI, semiconductors, quantum, biotech, clean energy or robotics — derived from company descriptions and industries, attached so the national-interest framing is visible per row.
Founder visa shapeOffshore founder with a US entity, or US-based immigrant founder — the Cohort 01 archetype logic applied to the funded pool, ranking which rows carry a live visa question.
Evidence tagsThe named signals behind the rank — round link, field class, archetype markers — carried on the row so your intake conversation starts from evidence, not from a cold score.
Verified contactsEmail and profile contacts, verified-or-empty. Nothing is guessed or pattern-generated; a blank cell is a blank cell.

Delivery cadence: a monthly fresh-rounds slice — each month's new rounds, classified and overlaid — or a one-off backfill of the last 12 months of rounds. Both are deduplicated against anything previously delivered to you.

The honesty boundary · what round data does not say

The event layer is measured, and its limits are part of the spec. Round data is a company-level fact with a date on it; everything person-level on top of it is a ranked inference, labeled as such on the row.

The honesty boundary

Round data marks the company event; it does not state the founder's status or intent. The overlay ranks propensity — evidence-tagged rows for your team to qualify, not adjudicated outcomes. Funding amounts are stage medians from tracked rounds, not verified per-company figures on every row: treat them as bands, and let your intake do what data cannot.

The pool in numbers · probed on the live graph, 2026-07-22

To keep this blueprint honest we ran a read-only feasibility probe before publishing: rounds aggregated across the full tracked bridge, then real founders sampled at the 1,000 freshest-round critical-tech companies. Every number below is measured, not modeled.

founder-titled people per funded company

Roughly 1.5 founder-titled people per funded company, split almost evenly between US-based (the EB-1A / NIW book) and offshore (the O-1A / E-2 / L-1 book) — the Cohort 01 archetype overlay applies out of the box. Probe gate was title-only; the shipped real-founder gate tightens it further at build time.

Get the first run

Blueprint means the first buyer sets the scope — fields, stages, monthly slice or 12-month backfill. A free 10-profile sample from the probed pool comes first.

A first delivery contains:

  • leads.xlsx — ranked founder rows with round context, field class and archetype overlay
  • leads.csv / leads.jsonl — the same data for CRM import and programmatic use
  • segments/ — per-stage and per-field cuts, offshore vs US-based books
  • README — classification logic, funnel, refresh-cadence contract

Each row is the complete data object — career, education, evidence, contacts, scoring. AI outreach agents can draft the first touch straight from these fields — referenced to each person's actual career, so the mail lands with a real person, not a template. See what one contact looks like, field by field →

Commission this cohort — first sample in 24–48 hours.

Blueprint status works in your favor: the first build is scoped to your practice from day one — fields you file in, stages you care about, monthly slice or 12-month backfill. Datasets $0.19–0.42 per contact, flat fee; managed outreach and API delivery available.

Or just write — a consultation is free: we will map this cohort to your practice.
